I have been providing outpatient psychiatric care to children, adolescents and adults since
1994. I maintain a conservative approach to the use of medications and take efforts to carefully
explain risks and benefits of treatment. While I provide some supportive psychotherapy, most
of my patients are referred by therapists. I believe that psychotherapy is an invaluable aspect
of care in most cases. My goal is to help people carefully and properly use psychiatric
medication (or reduce medication) over time to relieve symptoms and minimize side effects.
